Many women lack the confidence needed to step forward to lead change.  STARPower Academy harnesses the inspiration of extraordinary women so that every woman is able to identify the extraordinary strength and genius that lives in their own story. We focus on identifying and transforming self-limiting mindsets, creating opportunities to practice leadership skills, and providing coaching and support within and across racial/ethnic identities within the sisterhood.

STARPower Academy is proud to feature
the journey and inspiration of
Three (Extra)Ordinary Women.

Pearlette, Tammy and Terry climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in September of 2021. These brave women share the truth of their lives as a lens for understanding our world, the changes that are needed, and the determination and sisterhood required to birth the world we need now.

As they share their journey and their life stories with us, we learn to embrace our own challenges and realize the difference we can make as we climb to new heights.

Reflections from
STARPower Academy participants

Sisterhood means so many things we don’t often appreciate. It’s being together even when we’re different. It’s saying our truth. It’s the endurance of the climb into each other’s hearts – and into our own.

Wow! I always thought of your journey as overcoming your individual challenges and you were able to make it a communal experience.❤️ So proud of you and your achievements!

So amazing that you each experienced a physical and spiritual rebirth through this Kilimanjaro climb, and that you’re sharing the continued unpacking of life’s meaning for you and for others. Love it!

YOU ALL ARE HEROES!!! ❤️🎊🤩

Thank you so much for sharing with us today. So inspiring. I feel you climbed the mountain for all of us. So grateful to each of you for your strength, courage, determination, and beauty. <3

Profound beauty and wisdom and authenticity from each of you. Thank you.
